The Team & Users page allows you to invite colleagues to your workspace and manage their access levels.

What You Can Do

  • Invite new team members
  • Assign roles and permissions
  • Remove team members
  • View pending invitations

Prerequisites

  • You must be a workspace Owner or Admin to manage team members

Step-by-Step: Invite a Team Member

Navigate to Users

Go to SettingsUsers in the sidebar.

Click Invite

Click the Invite User button.

Enter Email

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.

Select Role

Choose the appropriate role from the dropdown.

Send Invitation

Click Send Invite.

Step-by-Step: Change User Role

Find the User

Locate the user in the team members list.

Click Role Dropdown

Click on their current role to open the dropdown.

Select New Role

Choose the new role.

Confirm

The change is applied immediately.

Step-by-Step: Remove a Team Member

Find the User

Locate the user in the team members list.

Click Remove

Click the Remove button (trash icon).

Confirm Removal

Confirm the action in the dialog.
Removing a user immediately revokes their access. They will need a new invitation to rejoin.

Pending Invitations

View and manage invitations that haven’t been accepted yet:
  • Resend: Send the invitation email again
  • Cancel: Revoke the invitation before it’s accepted

Best Practices

Assign the minimum role needed for each team member’s responsibilities.
Review your team list periodically and remove users who no longer need access.
Keep the number of Owners and Admins small to maintain security.
When inviting users, ensure the workspace name clearly identifies its purpose.

Troubleshooting

  • Check the spam/junk folder
  • Verify the email address is correct
  • Resend the invitation
  • Ask the user to add noreply@boty.chat to their contacts
  • Ensure you have Admin or Owner permissions
  • Owners cannot be demoted by Admins
  • There must always be at least one Owner
  • You cannot remove yourself
  • Admins cannot remove Owners
  • The last Owner cannot be removed
